Year 4 Farlington pupil Daisy recently enjoyed an outstanding experience at the British Riding Club Championships, qualifying for two prestigious classes: Dressage to Music and Prelim Dressage.

Qualifying for the championships was a significant achievement in itself, particularly as the junior category includes riders up to the age of 18.

A valued member of Farlington’s thriving Equestrian team, Daisy competed alongside some of the country’s top young riders with her horse, Harry, delivering a superb performance in the Dressage to Music Championship to secure a top-ten finish. Their routine stood out for its originality, with Daisy being the only competitor to perform to pop music - an unusual and memorable choice that impressed both spectators and judges alike.

In the Prelim Dressage Championship, Daisy and Harry once again performed incredibly well, improving on their qualifying score by an impressive 3%, and finishing comfortably in the middle of a highly competitive field of more than 40 riders.

These championships marked another important milestone in Daisy’s riding career, reflecting not only her dedication and hard work, but also the confidence and independence she continues to develop through her sport.

Congratulations to Daisy and Harry on their fantastic achievements. We can’t wait to see what you do next!
