Farlington's friendly boarding house, the 'Mansion House', offers students a cosy, home-from-home environment. Older boarders have their own space in single or double rooms, whilst younger students share dormitories.

Within the boarding house, students experience a family atmosphere, comfortable communal areas, campus-wide Wi-Fi access, spacious study bedrooms, and all mod cons. Our boarders forge strong friendships and develop great social skills, independence and understanding, as well as a warmth of spirit and character that will serve them well at university and throughout their lives.

Once the busy school day is over, evenings are relaxed and fun, with a great sense of community. Our supportive staff are always on hand to help, lend a listening ear or discuss the day’s events. The Common Room has a large-screen TV on which to watch favourite programmes and DVDs, and every Friday is ‘Movie Night’ - complete with popcorn!

The best way to really discover what boarding at Farlington is like is to come and see for yourself - once Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted, we would be delighted to arrange boarding Taster Days/Nights for you.

In the meantime, please contact our Head of Admissions, Louise Mursell, on 01403 282573, or email admissions@farlingtonschool.com, to arrange a virtual tour of the boarding house or set up a Skype meeting with our Headmistress, Louise Higson.
