ACADEMIC RESULTS & UNIVERSITY DESTINATIONS

Farlington students consistently achieve outstanding results at GCSE and A-Level.

In 2026, 44% of A-Level grades awarded to Farlington students were A*- A, 73% A*- B; and our Sixth Form celebrated a 100% pass rate.

Particularly impressive is the school’s ‘value added’, at +0.9. This is regarded as excellent progress by the Department for Education, as it means that students surpass their baseline expectations by almost a full grade per entry.  Impressively, 65% of all grades were at least one grade above the expected baseline, with 33% of grades at least two grades above. This reflects the outstanding progress made by these students during their time at Farlington Sixth Form.

GCSE results in 2026 were equally as impressive, with 31% grades 9-8; 51% grades 9-7; and 94% grades 9-4. The school’s ‘value added’ at GCSE, at +0.9, and 56% of all grades were at least one grade above the expected baseline.
