We have a very strong pastoral vision and a whole-school ethos geared towards wellbeing and promoting a positive and holistic approach to good mental health.
We prioritise the safety, and nurture the self-esteem, of every student, ensuring that all of our students feel happy and secure. Our experienced staff are particularly skilled at helping students settle in, so that they quickly become familiar with their surroundings and make new friends.
Pastoral care is not just about dealing with things when they go wrong; it is about instilling in students the importance of trust, respect, compassion and resilience. These core principles are at the heart of Farlington life. We foster a community where every student matters; they are listened to and supported so that they develop confidence and self-awareness.
