Farlington students consistently achieve outstanding results at GCSE and A-Level. In 2023, 74% of A-Level grades awarded to Farlington students were A*-B, and 83% of Farlington students secured a place at their first-choice university. The 2023 GCSE results were equally impressive. Hooray! It's time for another Performing Arts Workshop here at Farlington School 🎉👏 On October 25th, Mrs Wells will be heading up a day of dance, drama and singing at our October Half Term Performing Arts Workshop, focusing on all of your favourite moments from Matilda the Musical/Film/Book 😊 This workshop is open to students from all local schools, from Reception right up to Sixth Form 😄 Early drop-off and late pick-up: For an additional £5 per person per day, your son or daughter may be dropped off at the slightly earlier time of 8.30am and picked up later, at 5.30pm. We have had a brilliant start to our football fixtures this year! ⚽️️ Big shout out to our fantastic under-14s team, who recently celebrated a 7-1 win against a strong team from Duke of Kent School 🥳 Both teams played some great football, and some excellent goals were scored by the Farlington boys️ 🏟️ Many congratulations to Year 10 student and ace footballer George, who scored his first ever hat trick 👏👏👏 Our football teams across the school are super excited about this season, and we're already looking forward to our next fixtures 🥅

Our pupils have been making the most of the great outdoors over the past two weeks and enjoyed some brilliant Forest School sessions 🌲 🌳 ☀️ The Reception children have been inspecting the bug hotel... 🐞🐛🦟 ... whilst our Year 2 pupils have been building dens! 👷‍♂️ 🏕️ 👷‍♀️ We are so proud to offer all Farlington students, from Reception to Year 6, weekly Forest School sessions in our beautiful grounds 🌱 📆 🌸 We can't wait to see what they get up to next!

Yippee! Our sparkling new nursery, Little Farlington, is officially open - and what a fabulous first day we had today 🥰 Early this morning we welcomed our first ever 'Discoverers, Explorers and Adventurers' to Little Farlington, and everyone had a brilliant time playing indoors and outdoors - we weren't going to let a little bit of rain spoil our fun 😀 We can't wait to welcome more children and have even more fun tomorrow!

What a fantastic start to the term we have had here at Farlington 😊🌞 The school felt very empty over the summer, so it is wonderful to see our classrooms, grounds and corridors filled with life once more 🥰 With lots of new spaces to enjoy - two new classrooms, a dance studio, new music rooms and a graphic design lab - as well as our nursery, Little Farlington, opening later this month - it's certainly going to be an exciting term. ⭐ CLASS OF 2023 ⭐ Over the next few weeks, we will be celebrating the Farlington students in Years 11 and 13 who will soon be starting their next exciting chapter following this year's GCSE and A-Level examinations 🎉 This is Alexandra, a boarder at Farlington from Year 6 to Year 13 😊 Whilst in the Sixth Form, Alex founded and edited our first-ever student-led magazine, FLIC (Farlington Life in Colour), which remains hugely popular amongst students, staff and parents alike 👏👏 Alexandra did fantastically well in her A-Levels this year, and will now read Urban Studies and Planning at The University of Sheffield 👍 Congratulations, Alex, on achieving the grades you needed to follow your dreams of studying Urban Planning!
