Farlington ❤️ Science!
Science Week was a truly spectacular celebration of curiosity, creativity and discovery across the whole school – from Nursery to Sixth Form! 🧬
Students explored the cosmos in a mobile planetarium, launched rockets, and stepped inside a life-sized blue whale outline during the South Lawn Science Spectacular. 😲
Highlights included a Year 12 trip to Herstmonceux Observatory, a buzzing STEM careers event with professionals from Microsoft, The Royal Navy, and more, and an inspiring Middle School Science Fair packed with impressive student-led presentations – we’re already looking forward to seeing next year's entries! 🤩
Younger pupils loved making chromatography butterflies during the Science Crafternoon, proudly led by our Year 8s. With something for every age, this week was a joyful showcase of the wonder of science. 🧪

We had such a lovely morning for our Lower School Celebration of Parents! 🤩
Beginning with a delicious breakfast on the South Lawn, the children excitedly joined their parents for a series of fun activities, including Forest School, Nature Hunts, Art through Nature, and Team Games, including a very intense Parents vs. Children game of rounders! ⚾
It was lovely to see the children enjoying their wonderful learning environment with their parents as we approach the end of the school year. 🥰

It is always such a lovely occasion, and the perfect opportunity for our Farlington families to gather together as we reach the end of this academic year, and naturally say 'goodbye' to our Year 13 students. 💖
We are looking forward to some delicious food, bespoke Farlington 'mocktails', and of course, some seriously impressive dance moves!💃🏼🕺🏼🎉

What a Wednesday! 🤩
This year, our amazing PTA has once again kindly donated some money to each section of the Student Council. The Middle School requested to use their money to fund a BBQ lunch party as an end-of-exam and end-of-year celebration! 🥳
The PTA provided the garden games and the ice lollies, and our catering team did us proud with the BBQ food - a proper Farlington team effort! The students all had a fantastic time, with volleyball, giant games, tree climbing, and some impromptu gymnastic displays! 🤸🏼♂️
Middle School sends a huge thanks to the PTA! 😎

Last week, our wonderful Year 8s went on an amazing adventure to Buddens Activity Centre in Dorset for a fun-filled few days! The trip focused on personal development, building confidence, raising self-awareness, taking responsibility, and learning communication and team-building skills. 🤩
The pupils took part in a wide range of activities including abseiling, zip wire, tomahawk throwing, archery, bushcraft, and indoor climbing. They also worked on their team-building skills through various activities, including crate stacking, Jacob’s Ladder, and orienteering. 💫
On the water, they took part in bell boating, canoeing, kayaking, raft building and stand-up paddle boarding. There was also evening entertainment, including fire lighting around the fire pits. ❤️🔥
A fantastic time was had by all, and lots of happy memories were made as the students prepare to leave Middle School for Senior School. 😊
