“The Sixth Form creates a fun learning environment and my tutors have helped me every step of the way from choosing my subjects, to suggesting extra courses I could study to help me get into Medical School.”
Welcome to Sixth Form
Farlington’s Sixth Form has been ranked 35th out of 4,470 Schools and Colleges in England*
*Based on A Level, ‘Value Added’ data in the Government School Performance Tables, January 2019.
This is an incredible achievement and I am delighted that we have received such recognition. The majority of our students receive their first choice of diversity destination and for September 2019 these include
- Bath, Bristol, Cambridge, De Montfort, Durham, Edinburgh, Exeter, Kings College London, Leeds, Loughborough, St. Andrews, UCL, University of the Arts London, Warwick and York.
A broad choice of A Levels are on offer, in both traditional and practical based subjects, alongside a wealth of opportunities to enhance independent learning skills: the Gold Duke of Edinburgh, Young Enterprise, Voluntary Service and the Extended Project Qualification to name but a few. We support personal interests and passions, be it setting up and running a choir, or project managing a charity event.
Come and visit our Sixth Form and meet our students for yourself. To arrange a visit, please call Louise Mursell on 01403282573 or email firstname.lastname@example.org

Sixth Form Life
The Sixth Form has its own building and excellent facilities; catch up with some research in the library, finish a project in the seminar rooms, relax with friends in the common room or satisfy your hunger with snacks in the kitchen. Class sizes are kept small, enabling every student to participate actively, and allowing our staff to help each girl reach her potential. Our pastoral values of integrity, endeavour, compassion and resilience form a happy and successful community here in the Sixth Form.
“Sport in Sixth Form is centred on being healthy, active but also having fun. You can choose to go to a local gym where you can set your own pace, go rock climbing, compete at golf or squash or even give water sports a try.”
