Senior & Sixth Form Curriculum

Our Senior School and Sixth Form is supported by four academic faculties. Each faculty is dedicated to inspiring their pupils and providing exceptional teaching.

Welcome to the Faculty of Languages

Welcome to the Faculty of Languages, where we develop our students’ communication skills.

Learning to use and understand language is an invaluable life skill. English at Farlington is a lively, engaging subject, which encourages creativity in writing and is complemented by the richness of our literature. Latin provides a fascinating insight into the development of our own and other European languages and with French, Spanish, German and Italian available, our students are spoiled for choice!

Through computing and drama, we bring all these subjects alive in the classroom and our experienced, enthusiastic teachers ensure that lessons are always creative and inspiring.

This will continue to play a lifelong role in their lives whether through their chosen career path or following a passionate pursuit within their leisure time.

Outside of GCSE and A Level qualifications, there are additional subject specific accreditations on offer that students can also choose to follow i.e.Speech and Drama, Music grades and Ballet.
